The Right Tint for the Right Sport

The Right Tint for the Right Sport

Sunglasses protect your eyes from exposure to harmful ultraviolet radiation, minimize eye fatigue and eyestrain, and reduce the effects of harsh sunlight. The amount of UV protection is the most important factor in the selection of sunglasses. To provide adequate protection for your eyes, sunglasses should block out 99 to 100 percent of both UV-A and UV-B radiation.

In addition to UV protection, tint color is another important consideration. The sunglass tint color determines how much visible light reaches your eyes, how well you see other colors, and how well you see contrasts. Some tints actually enhance colors, while others distort them. Below is a guide to help you choose the right tint to optimize your performance.

Color:-Gray

Uses :-Reduces the maximum amount of visible light and allows for true color recognition. The most popular tint. Good for bright sunny days and heavy glare situations.

Activities:- Driving, outdoor sports (golf, running, cycling, boating), and general use.
